Trade Mark Advice Training Opportunity

According to an independent survey carried out by the Institute of Trade Mark Agents we are one of the fastest-growing IP law firms in the UK.

We are limited in the amount of trade mark and trade mark related daily enquiries that we can handle by our current team who are working flat out.

Therefore we would like to train 2 further trade mark advisors to help deal with enquiries.

This position does not initially carry a salary but could do so in time. It is an experiment at this end but one we think will work very well.

So the deal is that we are prepared to train 2 (to start with) successful candidates here in the office on trade mark matters for a couple of weeks. Then, if you can demonstrate your ability to deal with enquiries and, more importantly, to identify the legal needs of the enquirers (that they may not actually see themselves - very important) we will pay you a generous commission on paid instructions.

We will give you access to the client relationship management screens of one our websites to enable you to report TM searches and send out invoices to potential clients.

On paid invoices you will receive a commission payment.

In a nutshell,  that is it.

The indicative commissions payable will be £45 on UK TM applications, £75 on EU Applications and a % on international applications.

There will also be the possibility of commission on further legal work emanating from your introductions in the first 12 months after first instruction.
